Cancer Care

A Uniquely innovative approach to cancer care

When it comes to cancer, you want your health in the hands of the region’s most renowned cancer treatment team. We provide the best care, closer to home, with more innovation, compassion, and hope for a positive outcome.

We use state-of-the-art treatments and technology, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). Our Radiation Oncology program at The Medical Center Cancer Treatment Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology, an acknowledgement of the high practice standards you can count on.

The Medical Center at Bowling Green has also earned three-year accreditation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC), maintaining national accreditation since 2004. When cancer patients choose to seek care locally at a CoC-accredited cancer center, they are gaining access to comprehensive, state-of-the-art cancer care close to home.

Your cancer care at Med Center Health is backed by partnerships with some of the country’s finest organizations, such as the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center. This renowned institution is the state’s first and only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center.

As a member of the UK Markey Cancer Center Affiliate Network, we can provide access to additional specialty and subspecialty physicians and care, including clinical trials and advanced technology, while allowing you to stay close to home for most treatments.

Most importantly of all, we take your cancer as personally as you do. We offer patients the services of a patient navigator — a trained professional dedicated to helping guide you through the complex healthcare system.

In every way possible, we make your fight our fight. So you can be confident you’re getting the very best care, for the very best opportunity for a positive outcome.
