We can help you navigate cancer

Newly diagnosed cancer patients often feel overwhelmed by the journey ahead of them. Barriers can arise that prevent patients from receiving timely treatment, and the coordination of doctors, treatments, medications and other demands can be confusing. Fortunately, with Patient Navigation, no one needs to go through this journey alone.

Patient Navigation connects patients with resources that remove barriers to treatment. Following the initial cancer diagnosis, the Navigator helps by serving as an educator and advocate, as well as a liaison between the patient and care team. Our goal is to provide the best possible assistance and support after the diagnosis. With a Patient Navigator, the journey through diagnosis, treatment and survivorship is less stressful for both the patient and the family.

The Medical Center is committed to providing the communities it serves with the most comprehensive cancer care available. Patient Navigation is an important part of that commitment. Contact Michelle Del Rey, Oncology Patient Navigator, for more information.
