That’s why it’s so important to know that Med Center Health Heart, Lung & Vascular Surgeons and the Chest Pain Center provide Southcentral Kentucky’s only comprehensive 24-hour emergency intervention for cardiac events. This includes open heart surgery, as well as balloon angioplasty, cardiac stenting and other minimally invasive procedures.

The Medical Center at Bowling Green Chest Pain Center team is on call 24 hours, with every department following strict protocols to ensure that patients receive efficient and accurate treatment.
In non-emergency cases, an extensive network of board-certified cardiologists are on staff to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment services. These include cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placement, Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), valve replacement, aneurysm repair, atrial/ventricular septal defect repair and more.
