A Long Tradition of Quality Patient Care

The Medical Center at Scottsville’s roots date back to 1952 when the Allen County War Memorial Hospital served the residents of Scottsville, Kentucky and surrounding communities. In 1993, the hospital was assigned to The Medical Center at Bowling Green, and was renamed The Medical Center at Scottsville.

Three years later, the hospital completed a major expansion, opening a new 80,000 square-foot complex with 52 acute-care beds and 105 skilled-care beds. The addition of these facilities ensured that residents of Scottsville and Allen County had access to the latest in high quality service without the need to travel to other cities.

In  1998, the Scottsville Medical Plaza, located on the campus of The Medical Center at Scottsville, opened its doors.  Today, it houses The Medical Center at Scottsville Rural Health Clinic.

Today, residents of Allen county still rely on The Medical Center at Scottsville for the healthcare services they need to stay close to home including diagnostic imaging services, physician specialty clinics, and comprehensive rehabilitation services.
