A Message from Our President and CEO
Today, Med Center Health is shining brighter than ever before—and as we approach our 100th anniversary in 2026, that light reflects a century of caring for people and improving the quality of life in the communities we serve. We constantly push ourselves to be bigger and bolder for one reason: to ensure more people have access to more high-quality services, today and for generations to come.
We continue to expand our reach and impact with the opening of new facilities, programs and clinics across the region. Alongside this growth, we’re offering more comprehensive care by bringing on additional specialists in areas such as cardiology, urology and gastroenterology, ensuring our communities can receive advanced care close to home.
As we look to the future, transforming the way we care for patients is just as important as expanding where we care for them. A major milestone in that transformation is the implementation of the Epic electronic health record system. Epic will connect our teams and our patients like never before—enhancing coordination, improving safety and creating a more seamless experience across the continuum of care.
Providing better, more advanced care also means continued investment in innovation. We’ve expanded telemedicine and virtual visits to give patients more convenient ways to connect with their providers, and we utilize some of the most sophisticated imaging and surgical technologies available to deliver exceptional preventive, diagnostic and surgical care.
While we invest in leading-edge technology, education and facilities, our greatest investment is—and always will be—our people. The quality and compassion that define Med Center Health are made possible by passionate, knowledgeable and kind-hearted healthcare professionals who pour their hearts into caring for our neighbors, friends and families every day.
I am incredibly proud of our entire organization for the dedication that allows us to reinvest millions of dollars back into improving the quality of life in Southcentral Kentucky—and for honoring our past while boldly shaping the future as we shine brighter every day.
