The Med Center Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine team provides services for seven area high schools and Western Kentucky University, so we’ve seen it all from recreation league strains and bruises to the high-level performance demands of the Division I college athlete.

We have a comprehensive team of fellowship-trained physicians, physical therapists, certified athletic trainers and certified strength and conditioning specialists to diagnose you, get you the treatment you need, and help you return to activity safely to prevent reinjury. Our services include medical care, sports physicals, athletic training and physical rehabilitation.

For patients suffering from bone and joint problems caused by disease, disorder or injury, our fellowship-trained UK Healthcare physicians provide expert care to get you back enjoying an active, healthy life. Our treatments include spine, total joint replacement, pediatric orthopaedics, trauma, upper extremity, hip and knee and foot and ankle. We pioneered leading-edge robotic-arm assisted technology for joint replacement surgery in Southcentral Kentucky.

The Med Center Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Walk-In Clinic is open for anyone with an acute, but non-emergency injury and is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. allowing you to see an orthopaedic specialist without an appointment before many doctor’s offices open.
