Med Center Health welcomes Abigail C. Santos, M.D. to Infectious Disease & Travel Medicine Specialists. Dr. Santos’ addition expands our team to three physicians and two nurse practitioners focused on the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Santos helped develop treatment guidelines at Rush University Medical Center where she completed her fellowship training. Her interests also include HIV, sexually transmitted infections and the appropriate prescribing of antibiotics.

Dr. Santos also specializes in Travel Medicine. Growing up in the Philippines, Dr. Santos takes special interest in tropical diseases.
