State-of-the-Art Dialysis Treatment Administered by Kidney Care Experts

As the leading healthcare provider in Southcentral Kentucky, Med Center Health offers dialysis treatments based upon the latest evidence-based standards. Our highly-trained staff will review symptoms and medical history and decide which treatment is best for you.

Hemodialysis removes blood from a patient’s body and filters it to remove waste and harmful substances before returning the blood to the body. Hemodialysis performs essentially the same function as healthy kidneys. It’s usually done in a dialysis center, taking between three and four hours each time, and most people have three treatments per week.

Peritoneal Dialysis is a procedure normally performed in a hospital room by our specially-trained staff up to four times a day. Nurses use a catheter that is placed in the stomach to drain fluid and filter impurities.

All our treatments are conducted by our highly-trained staff with expertise in dialysis and kidney disease. They understand the toll this disease takes on your body and your mind. They’re there with the best treatment options in Southcentral Kentucky, and compassion to understand the path you’re walking down.
