THE MEDICAL CENTER HOME CARE PROGRAM
The Medical Center Home Care Program provides professional, tailored medical services in the comforts of home. We serve Warren, Allen, Butler, Edmonson, and Simpson Counties and are available 24/7 for any issues that may arise while in our care. A referral from a physician is required, and most insurances require the individual be homebound.
Services offered for Alzheimer’s disease include the following:
- Physical therapists help to prevent falls by prescribing strengthening exercises, and functional task training.
- Occupational therapists focus on maximizing engagement in activities, maintaining existing abilities, and creating safe environments.
- Speech therapists offer advice on communication, memory, information processing, as well as eating, drinking and swallowing guidelines.
- Social workers can help families understand the needs of their loved one and ensure they have the best
resources available to them.
MED CENTER HEALTH ADULT DAY CENTER
Med Center Health Adult Day Center provides services to adult clients who have a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s
disease or dementia in a safe, friendly and home-like environment. These clients enjoy a special area within the Center to better serve their needs.
We offer nutritional snacks and meals, provide incontinence care and can administer medications. Our
Therapeutic and Physical Activities engage clients through music therapy, art sessions and memory stimulation.
CAL TURNER REHAB & SPECIALTY CARE
Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care is a 110-bed facility uniquely attached to The Medical Center at Scottsville in Allen County where immediate access to acute or emergency care is available. Our team provides Short Term Rehab, IV Therapy, Nutritional Therapy, Skin/Wound Care and Long Term Care Services. This allows you to receive a Continuum of Care within Med Center Health.
