Med Center Health Foundation to hold Virtual Charity Ball

The Med Center Health Foundation has announced this year’s 17th Annual Charity Ball, benefiting The Community Clinic and The Dental Clinic, will be a virtual event.

Amy Hardin, Executive Director of Med Center Health Foundation, states, “While we are disappointed that we will not be able to celebrate together in person at the event, we know this is the right decision as we continue to battle the COVID-19 pandemic and work diligently to increase Warren County’s vaccination rate (currently less than 50%).”

The Virtual Charity Ball – scheduled for November 13, 2021 – will now feature an online auction, 21-Days of Giving to be held at area businesses leading up to the event, and a live drawing that will take place the evening of November 13th.

“This was not an easy decision,” said Hardin.  “We are so appreciative of our community and our sponsors for their understanding.  Our primary concern is the health and safety of our participants and our support staff.  This led to our decision to go virtual.”

Hardin asked that those interested in the 2021 Virtual Charity Ball visit bgcharityball.org for more details.  “The level of support the Med Center Health Foundation receives from our community is truly amazing,” she said.  “We are focused on making this year’s virtual event a memorable experience for everyone involved.”
