Helen Dinning Scholarship

The Helen Dinning Scholarship Endowment was established by Med Center Health, the parent company of The Medical Center at Franklin, to honor Helen Dinning for her generous support of the Franklin hospital.

This scholarship is for the Fall 2026–Spring 2027 academic year.  It includes $4,600 per year, payable over two semesters, which may be awarded to one student or divided between two students.

To qualify for the Helen Dinning Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School.
  • A full-time sophomore, junior, or senior at Western Kentucky University and be currently enrolled in a health-related degree program.
  • Recipients must have a 3.0 GPA in the fall semester to receive the scholarship for the spring semester.

The award is not renewable; however, recipients may re-apply and will be considered for the award in subsequent years.

*Please attach a copy of your college transcript, including your cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA).
