About Cindy Bond, APRN
Cindy Bond, APRN, is certified in family medicine by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and has practiced in the Auburn area since 2015.
Cindy’s decision to get into the healthcare field started at an early age. “I have wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl,” she says. “Helping people has always been my passion.”
Cindy makes it her mission to care for each patient respectfully. “I treat everyone how I would want myself or my family to be treated.” Cindy goes above that call before every visit. “I pray for wisdom that I can know how to care for my patients, and I pray for them and sometimes even with them if needed.”
Cindy chose to focus on family medicine because it is the first encounter most people have with healthcare. “It is an area that can make people feel comfortable to proceed with decisions in their overall health or cause them anxiety over it,” she says. “It is my goal to help people know they are important and make their experience a good one so they will continue with follow ups and take control of their health.” Regarding improvement in one’s health, she advises people to never give up. “Keep fighting for your health,” she says. “You are never alone in this walk. We are here to help”.
Cindy is passionate about caring for people who have diabetes. “I love helping people gain control of glucose levels and see their A1C start coming down,” she says. “This is a very attainable goal that can really change a person’s life.”
While Cindy strives to help everyone during their visits. “Each individual is just that…individually different. I want each patient to feel they are not just a number, but a person that is special and cared for,” she says. “While we strive to stay on schedule, we never know what we will encounter with each person that may take more time.”
Cindy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Austin Peay University in 2013. She earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Austin Peay University in 2015.
When she is away from the office, Cindy enjoys attending church and helping with church activities. It also makes her heart happy to spend time with family and travel or camp.
She welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
