Med Center Health Foundation is honored to have
received a $4.2 million donation from the Robert and Mary Tincher Charitable Foundation.
Robert and Mary Tincher and their Foundation have supported the Med Center Health
Foundation since its inception in 2000, giving $1.6 million, including a transformative $1 million
gift in 2024 to the Guardian Angel Children’s Services Program, which was renamed in their
honor.
“This is the largest gift our Foundation has ever received, and we are deeply grateful for
the opportunity to carry forward Robert and Mary Tincher’s legacy of giving back to the
community,” said Connie Smith, President and CEO of Med Center Health. “The Tinchers
demonstrated remarkable compassion for the children in our community. Through the Robert
and Mary Tincher Guardian Angel Children’s Services Program, their generosity will help provide
free or reduced-cost care to local children in need for years to come.”
The latest, life-changing gift brings their total support of Med Center Health Foundation
to nearly $6 million. This generous donation will continue to support the Robert and Mary
Tincher Guardian Angel Children’s Services Endowment for pediatric medical, dental, and
orthodontic care to children in Bowling Green and Warren County.
“We recognize this gift represents years of time and faithful stewardship by Robert and
Mary Tincher as well as the Tincher Foundation Board of Directors,” said Michele Lawless,
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Med Center Health. “We are honored they
have entrusted us to carry on their legacy. We accept that responsibility with gratitude and a
deep commitment to the children and families we serve.”
Med Center Health will deliver these pediatric services through its Community Clinic and
Dental Clinic. More than 400 children used funds from the Robert and Mary Tincher Guardian
Angel Children’s Services Program in 2025.
