Graduate Nurse Residency

Med Center Health offers a Graduate Nurse Residency Program designed to educate and support the graduate nurse transition from novice to beginner nurse during the first months of your professional career. Our nursing educators and unit preceptors will assist you in:

  • Improving bedside patient assessment and care skills
  • Critical thinking
  • Problem-solving patient conditions
  • Interdisciplinary communication skills

Our clinical nurse educators are certified in their field of expertise.

Graduate Nurse Residency Program Orientation

  • Didactic presentations and discussion on clinical topics and patient situations
  • Simulation with multiple patient situations and critical patient changes in a safe learning environment
  • Hands-on experience with equipment
  • Electronic documentation
  • Interdepartmental visits

Med Center Health Vaccine Clinic Update
The COVID-19 vaccine and booster are available at Medical Center Urgentcare located at 291 New Towne Drive in Bowling Green for those 12 and older. For those under 12, the vaccine is available at Med Center Health Primary Care Bowling Green.
