Marlene grew up in Louisville, Ky., and graduated high school in Louisville prior to moving to Bowling Green to pursue her degree in Social Work. Marlene graduated from WKU in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. She has had different roles in her career prior to joining The Medical Center at Bowling Green in 2000. She worked as a Social Worker on various units of the hospital before transitioning to Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in November 2015.
Marlene is married and has two grown children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband to the National Parks, hiking to waterfalls, touring wineries, and baking.
