Med Center Health Offering Head & Neck Cancer Support Group
Med Center Health is starting its first head and neck cancer support group. It is estimated that more than 70,000 people in the United States will be diagnosed with head and neck cancer in 2025. This includes cancers of the oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, and more.
Led by Keely Bill, a Speech-Language Pathologist, Med Center Health’s Head and Neck Cancer Support Group will provide a welcoming environment to connect with others who have experienced head and neck cancer. “This will be a place of mutual support where people can learn from others about what to expect during this cancer journey, and a place for a person to share their experiences with others. New members are always welcome,” said Bill.”
The support group will meet from 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. on the following dates:
- Tuesday, August 12
- Tuesday, October 14
Meetings will take place at The Medical Center Cancer Treatment Center at 250 Park Street. For more information on Med Center Health’s Head and Neck Cancer Support Group, please call 270-745-1015 or visit MedCenterHealth.org
