New clinical trial for weakened or compromised immune systems

Do you have a weakened immune system? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical trial aimed to help protect people with weaker immunity from contracting COVID-19.

Qualmedica Research, a clinical trial site in Bowling Green and associated with the Western Kentucky Heart and Lung/ Med Center Health Research Foundation, is researching investigational antibodies that may help to protect people with weaker immunity from contracting COVID-19.

You may be eligible to take part in this COVID-19 study if you:

  • are 12 years of age or older and have an impaired immune system,
  • have not tested positive for COVID-19 or received a COVID-19 vaccine in the past 3 months,
  • are currently taking immunosuppressive medicine.
