In the event of social distancing restrictions still in place, class size will be smaller and we may only meet for 2 of the 3 classes offered and no tour at this time will be offered in this series. Masks are required. This is a 3-week series that covers information on preparing for labor & delivery. We will learn about the onset and stages of labor and delivery. Topics include benefits of breastfeeding, latching techniques, pumping and how to get the best start for you and your baby. Diabetes can be harmful to the blood vessels and nerves in your feet. If you have diabetes, you should have your feet checked once a year. Staff from Cumberland Foot & Ankle Centers of Kentucky will evaluate your feet and discuss prevention and early detection of foot problems. For those whose schedules aren't conducive to the 3-Week series, we offer this condensed One Day class that covers the same material in the 3-week series - onset and stages of labor, medical interventions (epidural, inductions), C-Section info and relaxation and breathing but in a fast paced one day class. This class will be held in person with social distancing in place. Please wear a mask. Limited registration to allow for small class size. Learn important baby care skills and discuss safety issues for newborns. An infant CPR demonstration will show parents what to do in an emergency.
