Franklin Simpson Community Health Fair

The Medical Center at Franklin will sponsor this year’s Franklin-Simpson Chamber of Commerce Community Health Fair. The health fair will be hosted on Saturday, March 1 from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Franklin-Simpson Middle School Gymnasium in Franklin, KY. The community health fair will feature free health screenings, demonstrations about healthy living, and door prizes. No preregistration is required, and all services and information will be provided free of charge.
There will be many health-related booths at the event with numerous free health screenings being offered:
- Blood Glucose* – four hours fasting recommended
- Blood Pressure
- BMI
- Body Fat Analysis
- Bone Density Screening
- Grip Test
- Lipid Profile
- Pulse Oximetry
- PSA (men over 50)
Education and information will also be offered on the following topics:
- Cancer Screenings
- Colorectal cancer and screening tests
- Depression and Anxiety
- Diabetes and Nutrition
- Lung Nodule Program
- Low-Dose CT scans
- Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy
- Senior Perspectives
- Other information on community needs (transportation, food insecurity, Medicaid ride services, etc.)
