Scholarships
Families have created a legacy by establishing scholarships through Med Center Health Foundation. Their legacy to change lives and improve the health of our community is shown through the individuals who are touched by their gifts. In addition, Med Center Health is honoring the memory of a long-term employee with a scholarship for radiography students.
Gary Alan Woodward Serving Others Scholarship
Med Center Health Foundation, through the generosity of Jacque Woodward and her Family, has created a scholarship in memory of her husband, Gary Alan Woodward. Gary was an honorable RN who died of Covid in 2020. This scholarship was created to continue his legacy of “Serving Others”.
The Carrel K. Sumner Family Memorial Scholarship
The Carrel K. Sumner Family Memorial Scholarship will support a full time or part time Med Center Health employee/spouse or child of an MCH employee who demonstrates financial need while attending Western Kentucky University, Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College or other accredited college in Southcentral Kentucky. Area of study and its appropriateness to healthcare will be considered.
