Acute Care
The Medical Center at Caverna features 25 patient beds. With technologies such as the new nurse call system installed in 2023, and bedside charting, patients receive quality care close to home.
POST-ACUTE CARE
Post-acute, or “swing bed,” care is for inpatients who no longer need acute care, but are not ready for discharge. Patients do not need to transfer to another hospital unit or facility. Swing bed promotes more patient comfort and better outcomes. Often, the patient can remain in their current room for post-acute care. This may include rehabilitation, infusion and wound care services.
