Acute Care
The Medical Center at Scottsville features private patient rooms with private baths. With technology such as a computerized nurse call system and bedside charting, patients receive care in one of the most modern hospitals in all of Southcentral Kentucky.
Post-Acute Care
The Medical Center at Scottsville also provides post-acute care for patients who are no longer acute, but still need inpatient care and are not ready to be discharged. This “swing bed” program promotes more patient comfort and better outcomes by eliminating the need to transfer patients to another hospital unit or facility. Often, the patient can remain in their current room for post-acute care, including rehabilitation services.
