The only Joint Commission accredited nursing facility in the 10-county Barren River Area Development District, Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care is also the only facility in the region attached to a hospital offering 24-hour physician care. Residents have the unique advantage of immediate access to acute care if needed.
Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care also serves as a Skilled Nursing Facility, providing nursing care for patients on a long- and short-term basis, such as those recovering from stroke or joint replacement surgery. Skilled care also includes therapeutic and restorative programs such as physical, occupational and speech therapy to assist individuals with disabling injury or illness.
