Surgical Services

The Medical Center at Franklin features state-of-the-art technology and modern surgery suites. The Surgical Services department includes two operating suites, an endoscopy suite, six-bed recovery unit and other surgical support services.

General Surgery

There’s no need to travel away from home when you need general surgery. General Surgery procedures include thyroid and parathyroid surgery, breast biopsies, breast cancer surgery, hemorrhoid surgery, skin biopsies and excisions, port placements for chemotherapy, laparoscopic abdominal surgery for hiatal hernias, gallbladder disease and appendectomies.

Ear, Nose & Throat

The Specialists at Med Center Health ENT are certified to treat a wide-range of conditions from hearing loss, balance disorders, to sore throats, tonsillitis or cancer. Services include tonsil and adenoids, nasal septum repair, turbinate reduction surgery, tympanoplasty, myringotomy with tube insertion, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) with image guidance.

Eye Surgery

Endoscopy

The Medical Center at Franklin also offers endoscopy which are specialized procedures used to diagnose problems related to the stomach and intestines.

Orthopaedic Surgery

Med Center Health Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine provides complete care for patients who have bone and joint problems caused by disease, disorder or injury. Services include carpal tunnel, trigger finger release, tendon and ligamentous repair, and ankle stabilization.

Podiatry

Podiatry Surgeries include debridement of Diabetic Ulcer, Skin Lesion, Bunionectomy, Tendon and Ligamentous Repair, Ingrown toe nails, Heel Spur, Neuroma, Metatarsal and Hammertoe Correction Surgeries.

Urology

Med Center Health Urology treats a wide range of urologic conditions in men, women and children. Services include vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, circumcision, bladder biopsy.
