The Medical Center at Russellville

The Medical Center at Russellville is a 75-bed acute care hospital that provides outstanding healthcare services for residents in Logan and surrounding counties as well as northern Tennessee. As part of the Med Center Health healthcare system, we provide patients access to advanced, high-quality care close to home.

Formerly Logan Memorial Hospital, The Medical Center at Russellville is a Joint Commission-accredited hospital that also is certified by The Joint Commission for Laboratory, by the American College of Cardiology as a Chest Pain Center, and by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine for its Sleep Center.

In addition to 75 acute care beds, The Medical Center at Russellville includes 6 ICU/CCU beds and 10 post-acute swing beds. Other services include a surgery center with 3 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, a 24-hour physician staffed chest pain accredited emergency department, and imaging technology including PACS, 3D digital mammography, spiral 16-slice CT, 3D ultrasound, MRI, echo and nuclear medicine. The hospital also offers cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation, laboratory services, infusion center, outpatient rehabilitation and a 2-bed sleep disorder center.

The medical staff is comprised of family practice, anesthesiology, internal medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, cardiology, emergency medicine, pulmonology, gastroenterology, nephrology, pain management, urology, pathology, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedic surgery, interventional radiology, and ophthalmology.

The Medical Center at Russellville has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark for Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Certification.

The Medical Center at Russellville recently underwent a rigorous onsite review. The Joint Commission evaluated compliance with certification standards related to care of stroke patients. The reviewer also conducted onsite observations and interviews.See More

Med Center Health to Host Annual Women’s Conference – Oct. 2

The Medical Center will host the annual women’s conference, A Day Just for Women, on Thursday, October 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Knicely Conference Center. This inspiring, fun, and informative event will feature nationally recognized motivational speaker Nancy Witter, along with Emily Davenport, a certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist.

Known for blending heartfelt positivity with humor, Nancy Witter delivers powerful, comedic storytelling that uplifts, empowers, and energizes. Her presentations will highlight the importance of self-worth and recognize the meaningful impact women make every day—in their homes, workplaces, and communities. Physical Therapist Emily Davenport is a Women’s Health Clinical Specialist who will lead an engaging session on pelvic floor health. She’ll explain how aging, life changes, and health events affect pelvic anatomy—and share practical strategies to prevent, manage, or recover from these changes.
