Outpatient Rehabilitation

In addition to our inpatient care, The Medical Center at Russellville has an outpatient therapy department. The Physical and Occupational Therapists at the outpatient therapy location work to directly address the problems that are interfering with your ability to perform activities important to you — and to make sure you know how to prevent future problems. Whether your goal is to walk again, get back to work, or get back to your favorite activity, our physical and occupational therapists will work with you to reach your goals.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Services

When you or a loved one require Rehabilitation Services, rest easy knowing you can receive compassionate care from experienced professionals – right here, close to home.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy uses therapeutic exercises and activities, physical manipulation of the body and patient education to restore movement, balance and coordination to alleviate pain and increase mobility and quality of life. Physical therapy may use modalities including heat, cold, electrical stimulation and ultrasound to enhance treatment outcomes. Therapists collaborate with the patient and family to identify goals of treatment to help you return to improve functional abilities, helping you return to daily activities.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy provides the opportunity to acquire skills and/or compensatory techniques through activities of daily living retraining, adaptive equipment training, improving fine motor skills and preparing patient and family for transitioning back into the community. Emphasis is placed on promoting functional independence of each patient. Our Occupational Therapists work alongside patient and family to address their personal goals to increase quality of life.

Inpatient rehab services are available six days per week depending on the needs of the patient.
