Woodward named to Kentucky Board of Licensure
Congratulations to Jacqueline Woodward, Administrator of Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care, who was recently named to the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Long-Term Care Administrators. As a member of the board, Jacque will help examine and license all eligible candidates for entry into the profession of Long-Term Care Administration.
In addition to licensure, the board recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality to patients in long-term care facilities and their families. The board conducts formal hearings when necessary and prosecutes by due process any violators of Kentucky’s requirements for issuance of license (KRS 216A).
“I’m humbled and honored to be appointed by Governor Beshear to serve in this capacity,” Jacque said. “It’s a door I never dreamed would open for me. I look forward to serving the Commonwealth.”
