The Medical Center at Bowling Green hosts Certified Nurses Ceremony
The Certified Nurses Ceremony took place last week in The Medical Center at Bowling Green auditorium.
Each certified nurse had their name called and was given their very own custom white jacket. Getting certified is the formal recognition of a nurse’s specialized knowledge, skills, and experience, demonstrated by the achievement of standards identified by a nursing specialty to promote the best health outcomes.
Simply put, certification is a testimony of a nurse’s experience, commitment, and excellence in patient care in a particular area. A certified nurse is a professional who chooses to go the extra mile in their education to prove their competence and dedication to their chosen nursing field.
