Kitchen Infrastructure Project Underway
On August 24, work officially began on the kitchen infrastructure repair and improvement project at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. Food Services completed a successful transition to a mobile kitchen near the loading dock in order to maintain uninterrupted meal service for patients, employees, physicians and visitors.
Beginning Monday, August 31, work will begin on replacing aging plumbing infrastructure in the main kitchen. Construction will primarily occur in the back-of-the-house kitchen area and surrounding service areas. Therefore, nearby corridors and access routes will be temporarily modified or closed. Please follow posted signage.
The Café remains open during current hours with a modified menu. Chick-fil-A is available on Tuesdays and Fridays while supplies last at the Expo Station, with payroll deduction available. For physicians, the Physician Lounge also remains open with a modified menu. Access to the Physician Lounge will be through the Health Information Management department.
