Ziyah Marshall wins BEE Award
Congratulations to Ziyah Marshall, a nursing assistant in Ambulatory Surgery, for being honored with the BEE Award. The following words are from Ziyah’s nomination for the award.
Ziyah began working in our department as a Teen Volunteer and was later hired for our department. She is very eager to learn and a great asset to our department working in the role of Nursing Assistant. From the moment she clocks in, she is busy cleaning, stocking and checking rooms/beds and doing whatever needs to be done.
I have been really impressed with her work ethic. You don’t always see such a young individual so eager to do her job, and I would like to extend a hearty “Thank You” to her. I have told her face-to-face many times “Thank You”, but I feel that the she needs to be recognized for “ALL” that she does. She is interested in Nursing and has talked about becoming an RN. She will make a wonderful and compassionate nurse someday.
