Med Center Health Welcomes Evans Amoah, M.D., MPH
Med Center Health is pleased to welcome Evans Amoah, M.D., MPH to our cancer team as he joins Irene Li, M.D., DABR at The Medical Center Cancer Treatment Center. As a radiation oncologist, Dr. Amoah treats a variety of cancers using traditional radiation therapy and the latest advancements in treatment options, including brachytherapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRT).
Dr. Amoah approaches patient care with empathy and humility. Listening closely to his patients’ concerns, understanding their goals and ensuring they feel heard and involved in their care are central to his practice.
“Oncology patients often face overwhelming uncertainty,” says Dr. Amoah. “I see it as my role to not only provide cutting-edge, evidence-based treatment but to also be a consistent and supportive presence for my patients.”
Dr. Amoah earned his medical degree at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Hanover, Hew Hampshire. He completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
