Med Center Health Welcomes Brandon Nance, D.O.
Med Center Health is pleased to welcome Brandon Nance, D.O. to Med Center Health Western Kentucky Heart & Lung as we expand our lung care in Southcentral Kentucky. As a pulmonologist, Dr. Nance treats disorders of the lungs and respiratory system. He can help patients suffering from breathing problems such as COPD, asthma, emphysema and pulmonary fibrosis to breathe easier.
Dr. Nance also works with Med Center Health’s Lung Nodule Program, a multi-disciplinary approach to the detection, diagnosis and treatment of suspicious nodules in the lungs at their earliest stages. This fast-track clinic examines incidental nodules and those detected through low-dose CT scans, working directly with primary care providers to schedule eligible patients for consultations with a team of physicians, including pulmonology, cardiothoracic surgery, medical oncology and radiation oncology.
Dr. Nance is a familiar face to Med Center Health. He graduated in June after three years of training with the University of Kentucky (Bowling Green) Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program. Prior to that, he completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Fransiscan Health Olympia Fields in Olympia Fields, Illinois after earning his medical degree at Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Dr. Nance treats others as he would like to be treated. He works closely with his patients’ care teams through effective communication to ensure the care of his patients comes first.
“Communicating effectively with everyone on a patient’s care team ensures we provide the best care for a patient’s lung health,” says Dr. Nance.
