Med Center Health Welcomes Arshad Muhammad Iqbal, M.D.
Med Center Health is pleased to welcome Arshad Muhammad Iqbal, M.D. to Med Center Health Western Kentucky Heart & Lung as we enhance our cardiac care in Southcentral Kentucky. As a cardiac electrophysiologist, Dr. Iqbal is a cardiologist who has additional education and training in the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms. He cares for people who experience slow or fast heart rhythms, skipped heart beats, atrial fibrillation and syncope (fainting spells).
“I want to make sure my patients have complete trust in me as I care for them,” said Dr. Iqbal. He treats his patients as he would like his own family to be treated. He goes above and beyond to care for his patients and build their trust in him.
Dr. Iqbal earned his medical degree at Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Pakistan. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Florida. He completed fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri.

Dr. Iqbal joins the current team of cardiology providers at Med Center Health Western Kentucky Heart & Lung. The Cardiac Electrophysiology office is located on the first floor of the Western Kentucky Heart & Lung building.
