Med Center Health Vaccine Clinic

Beginning Monday, December 13, the Med Center Health COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic will move from Medical Center Urgentcare to The Medical Center – WKU Health Sciences Complex located at 700 E. First Avenue on the campus of The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and booster will be administered.

Please encourage anyone you know who is unvaccinated to get the vaccine. To schedule an appointment for the vaccine (ages 5 and up) or vaccine booster (16 and older, see eligibility guidelines below), individuals can text the word COVID to 270-796-4400. They should bring their photo ID and insurance card to their appointment. If requesting the booster, their vaccine card is also requested.

Everyone Ages 16 and Older Can Get a Booster Shot.

Those who are 18 years or older may choose which COVID-19 vaccine they receive as a booster shot. Some people may prefer the vaccine type that they originally received, and others may prefer to get a different booster. CDC’s recommendations now allow for this type of mix and match dosing for booster shots. The Pfizer-BioNTech booster is available at the Vaccine Clinic.

Who can get a booster:

  • Teens 16-17 years old
    • At least 6 months after completing the primary Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination series
    • Teens 16-17 years old can get a Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine booster

Who should get a booster:
