Med Center Health sponsors WKU’s ‘Pink Out’ themed basketball game

WKU Men’s Basketball (13-6, 2-3 CUSA) hosted FIU on Thursday night for its inaugural Coaches vs. Cancer Pink Out Game with Med Center Health as the sponsor of the event.

All fans in attendance received a free pink shirt that says “Tops Block Out Cancer,” courtesy of Med Center Health, and the Hilltoppers’ pregame shooting shirts were auctioned off with proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society. During halftime, WKU recognized cancer survivors at mid-court, along with numerous members of our Cancer Services team.

Coaches vs. Cancer is a partnership between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). Coaches vs. Cancer unites coaches, fans and members of the basketball community in supporting the American Cancer Society’s work to improve the lives of people with cancer through research, patient support and advocacy.
