Daily Safety Call

  • Daily Safety Call or Huddle conducted each weekday at every Med Center Health hospital
  • This is a 24-hour look back and 24-hour look ahead to identify any safety concerns
  • All departments participate in providing updates and real-time follow-up
  • At the conclusion of the call, a daily report is distributed by email so leaders can share pertinent safety information with their teams
  • Daily reports are reviewed to evaluate for trends or concerns and are reported to leadership and the Patient Safety Committee
  • You can contribute by keeping your manager up to date on safety concerns and filing incident reports on near misses or safety events
