Med Center Health Emergency + UrgentCare hosts ribbon cutting

Med Center Health Emergency + UrgentCare-Lovers Lane hosted a ribbon-cutting on Thursday, April 24. The event drew hundreds as Med Center Health celebrated the opening of its newest facility.

This is the region’s first combined emergency and urgent care facility, giving patients convenient access to both levels of care under one roof. Med Center Health Emergency + UrgentCare is located at 457 Lovers Lane in The Hub. The emergency department will operate 24/7, while urgent care hours will be 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Upon arrival, patients will be evaluated by board-certified, emergency medicine physicians who will determine the appropriate level of treatment. The 12,000-square-foot facility also features 24/7 on-site lab services and a radiology suite equipped with X-ray, ultrasound, and a multi-slice CT scanner, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care without having to stress about going to a traditional emergency department.
