Med Center Health awarded inaugural Volunteer of the Year award from Junior Achievement

On April 30^th, Med Center Health was honored to receive the first-ever Volunteer of the Year award from Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky.  The award was part of the annual JA Distinguished Hall of Fame event, which honors area leaders for their service to the community. The Volunteer of the Year award was given to honor Med Center Health’s commitment to the mission of Junior Achievement and to enhancing the workforce across the region. 

The laureate awarded this year was former Warren County Judge Executive, Michael Buchanon, a Commonwealth Health Corporation board member, and the annual Trailblazer Award was given to BlueCotton co-owner and CRO, Julie Denton-Price.  Med Center Health Executive Director of Marketing & Public Relations, and current Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky board chair, Corie Martin, accepted the award on behalf of Med Center Health.
