Med Center Health Annual Women’s Conference – Oct. 2
The Medical Center will host the annual women’s conference, A Day Just for Women, on Thursday, October 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Knicely Conference Center. Motivational speaker Nancy Witter and Women’s Health Clinical Specialist Emily Davenport will be the featured speakers. The deadline to sign up for The Women’s Conference is September 12th.
Nancy Witter combines positivity and comedy to help people cope and give them hope, even during life’s toughest times. Her upbeat presentations serve to empower and energize the participants by acknowledging their individual contributions, as well as those of their colleagues, to the community they serve.
Physical Therapist Emily Davenport is a Women’s Health Clinical Specialist and will help the audience understand how life events, aging, and change affect women’s pelvic floor anatomy. And understand options to prevent, reduce risk, and/or recover from these changes.
In addition to the presentations, A Day Just for Women will also feature health information, health screenings, and local businesses with products to sell, such as jewelry and accessories.
Registration is $70 per person and includes presentations, health screenings, continental breakfast, lunch, and conference materials. Corporate tables for 10 are available for $650.
