Local churches join in prayer to support healthcare workers

On January 16, local churches joined together in a prayer circle to show support for the staff at The Medical Center at Scottsville and Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care. Leaders in the community, including Allen County Judge Executive Dennis Harper and Scottsville Mayor David Burch, spoke of the hard work and sacrifices made by medical workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. A prayer led by Pastor Danny Patrick from East Willow Street Church of God concluded the event. This moving gathering was another example of how so many in our communities are expressing their understanding and compassion in support of our staff who are giving their all to fight this deadly disease.
