KYACHE Addresses Opioid Crisis

The Kentucky Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives will host an educational event, Bridging Collaboration and Successful Opioid Solutions, on November 13 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at The Medical Center-WKU Health Sciences Complex.

No healthcare system in Kentucky has been spared from the opioid crisis. Participants will learn more about the Bridge Program through the Kentucky Statewide Opioid Program and the challenges facing all healthcare providers from opioid use in our communities, advancements in pain management strategies, building a multi-organizational coalition, identifying key stakeholders, identifying resources, and formalizing plans for prevention, treatment, recovery and assurance of care.

Participants will receive 1.5 Hours of In Person Credit.  Students and Med Center Health employees may attend free of charge but must register. Registration is $30 for ACHE members and $40 for non-members.

Following the presentation, a networking event will be held from 5 to 7 pm at Novo Dolce.
