Kentucky Super Preps honors local high school athletes

Med Center Health was proud to once again serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the Bowling Green Daily News’ Kentucky Super Preps on June 4 at Bowling Green Ballpark. Kentucky Super Preps honored high school student athletes throughout Southcentral Kentucky for their achievements in athletics, academics, and community involvement.

Athletes were nominated by their coaches for each KHSAA-sanctioned sport at 14 area high schools. One student-athlete was chosen as Athlete of the Year for each sport. Several special awards were presented, including the Comeback Player Award, sponsored by Med Center Health and presented to Eliazar Cordona, a soccer player from Butler County High School.

A keynote speech by Med Center Health Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Baylor Blickenstaff recognized the sacrifices made by the students, their families, coaches, and other mentors. He also highlighted how their investments, regardless of their careers, set them up for success.
