Gov. Andy Beshear Recognizes KCTCS and Med Center Health for partnership

Earlier this week, Dr. Larry Ferguson, acting president of KCTCS, and Gov. Andy Beshear announced Education First, a new workforce development partnership between Kentucky Community and Technical College System and Kentucky companies prioritizing educational achievement and workforce development.

Med Center Health, along with 45 other Bluegrass companies have joined this partnership and agreed to spend $3 million in student support.

“Med Center Health is proud to be a part of the inaugural group of Education First employers partnering with The Kentucky Community & Technical College System,” said Tony Bohn, Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer for Med Center Health. “We have a long-standing relationship with Southcentral Kentucky Community & Technical College, working together to develop programs for both incumbent workers and the high school workforce. We look forward to continued collaboration toward the development of new programs that will prepare Southcentral Kentucky for future workforce growth.”
