Good Samaritan – Mike Hughes

Congratulations to Mike Hughes, Manager of Administrative Services at The Medical Center at Franklin, on receiving the Good Samaritan Award. Mike was nominated for going above and beyond to provide care to a patient’s loved one.

“A lady came to visit her husband, and the wheel fell off her walker. She called and asked if someone could come to her car and help her in. We brought in her walker, and Mike got the parts to fix it. It was taped up, and he removed the tape and fixed it with cables. When he was finished and I took it to the patient’s room, the lady was so excited. She thought she had a new walker and was very appreciative of Mike going out of his way for her.” – Leta Wilson
