The Garden Spot 5K Run and 5K Walk is back and will be better than ever!
A Virtual 5K option has been added for those who can’t join in person on race day, but who want to participate on their own schedule and at their own location.
Held annually in beautiful, downtown Franklin, this event attracts a sizable crowd for a day out filled with fun and awards! The primarily flat course carries participants through historic downtown Franklin and into beautiful, partially shaded residential areas, finishing back at the old Simpson County Courthouse. Awards in 14 age categories are presented from the bandstand as participants and onlookers enjoy the shaded area provided by 100-year-old maple trees. All registrants will receive an event shirt!
Young folks will enjoy the Chaney’s Dairy Barn Kids Fun Run on Friday night as kids ten years old & younger may run the course down College Street and back to the square.
It all adds up to a great weekend in Franklin, Kentucky!
