Employee Health offering RSV Vaccine

Med Center Employee Health is now offering the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine to eligible employees. The Center’s for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends a one-time dose of RSV vaccine to everyone 75 years of age and older and for adults 60-74 years of age who are at increased risk of severe RSV disease. CDC also recommends a one-time dose of the vaccine for pregnant women from weeks 32-36 of pregnancy for the prevention of RSV disease in their infants during the first six months of life.
