Edgers Rappel Down Stadium Park Plaza for BRACAC
On September 26, three representatives of Med Center Health rappelled down the five-story Stadium Park Plaza in support of the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center (BRACAC). Dr. Diego Cabrera, Dr. Catherine Heltsley, and Katrina Wood took part in the annual Over the Edge event for which Med Center Health served as the Presenting Sponsor.
“Med Center Health has sponsored Over the Edge since the inaugural event in 2018,” said Julie Eaton, Med Center Health Vice President of Operations and BRACAC Board Member. “This event is not only an inspiring way to raise awareness, but also a meaningful opportunity for our team to stand beside the Child Advocacy Center as they work to ensure every child has the chance to heal, grow, and thrive.”
Since 1998, the Child Advocacy Center has helped over 10,000 children in our local community. The Child Advocacy Center offers a child-friendly location where teams of professionals work together to pursue justice for child victims of sexual abuse. Forensic interviews, medical exams, and mental health therapy are the primary services offered by the Center. Proceeds from Over the Edge support these services and further BRACAC’s prevention efforts.
