Connie Smith inducted into WKU Hall of Distinguished Alumni

Congratulations to Connie Smith, Med Center Health President and CEO, on being inducted into WKU’s Hall of Distinguished Alumni. Connie was one of two individuals to be recognized with this honor at last week’s Hilltopper Excellence Awards.

Connie, 1982 alumna, was recognized for the role she has played at Med Center Health as our hospital system has strategically expanded across southcentral Kentucky. She has helped Med Center Health become the largest healthcare employer in the region. Connie was also commended for her commitment to collaboration and innovation with the establishment of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine – Bowling Green Campus and with the creation of The Medical Center-WKU Health Sciences Complex.
