Barren River Regional Cancer Center holds picnic for patients

On July 1, Barren River Regional Cancer Center hosted a 4th of July cookout for previous and current patients. They had a great turnout! Patients enjoyed catfish, hot dogs, greater taters, hush puppies, slaw, fruit and cookies along with funnel cakes catered by Puddn’s Grillin’ & Fryin’ Wagon. Everyone was entertained by Steel Country Band. Dr. Tyree and his staff were pleased to reconnect with patients from 20 years ago. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.
