Applications being accepted for Boyd and Woodward Scholarships

Med Center Health Foundation is now accepting applications for The Marion Boyd Scholarship Fund.

The Marion Boyd Scholarship Fund is established with the Med Center Health Foundation through gifts made by friends and family of Marion Boyd and staff members of Med Center Health. The purpose of the Scholarship Fund is to pay tribute to Marion Boyd and to recognize the contributions she made to Med Center Health.

The scholarship is for Radiography students enrolled at Southern Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) and covers the Fall 2021-Spring 2022 academic year. It includes $2000 per year, payable over two semesters, awarded to one student.

Application Deadline:  July 1, 2021.

Med Center Health Foundation, through the generosity of Jacque Woodward and her family, has created a scholarship in memory of Gary Alan Woodward, her husband, to help future nurses. Gary Alan Woodward was an RN who served his community with dedication and honor, and who died of COVID-19. This scholarship will continue his legacy.

This scholarship is available starting Fall semester 2021. It is a $2,000 scholarship to be applied to tuition, required textbooks and fees.

Applications are now being accepted. Deadline for submitting applications is Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
